Home Remedies for Less Bleeding During Periods
There are quite many females who experience scanty period's symptoms or Amenorrhea, which means that they suffer from insufficient amount of blood flow at the time of their menses. Some may also have a total absence of menstrual period. Normal bleeding continues for about four to six days which a bleeding that is close to 80 ml. If the bleeding stops by the second day, it is called scanty bleeding.
Causes of Amenorrhea
Hormonal imbalance is the main reason behind this condition. When the flow of blood is normal continuing for four or six days, the hormone level is balanced. When you have periods that are occurring regularly, but for lesser time span (less than four days) you should focus more on it.
Scanty periods are may be observed when the cycles are early. If you have proper period cycles occurring on time, scanty period can be termed abnormal. Note that scanty periods is not a harmful phenomenon.
There are mainly two types of scanty periods, namely primary and secondary. When you are not having your periods, it will be the primary type. When women have their periods, but the blood flow is not sufficient or the days are irregular, it is the secondary type of Amenorrhoea. At times, hymen can act as an obstruction causing pain as well.

As ginger is easily available at households, it can be used extensively for providing relief to the pain as well as the treatment of scanty periods. Ginger helps in systemizing and naturalizing the blood flow. Ginger will help in speeding your blood flow once you start seeing lighter periods. You can have ginger tea along with honey at home or even consume raw ginger juice.
Sesame Seeds
In case of light periods, you could make use of sesame seeds. They are quite effective in dealing with irregular periods as well. The seeds need to be dried up and grinded properly. After doing so, blend it in some lukewarm water and drink it several times a day.
Cinnamon
You may experience unbearable pain along with uneasiness when you have light periods. Cinnamon can be useful in treating light periods along with the pain symptoms.
